British Blues Champion & Reserve at Skipton Prime Show

Skipton Auction Mart held their September monthly prime show, on Monday 1st September.
The Champion, a British Blue Heifer from Jim Baines, Trawden
The Champion was a 490kg British Blue heifer from Jim Baines, of Trawden, which topped at 266.5p/kg, to gross £1, 306.
The Reserve Champion was a 590kg British Blue bullock from Silsden Moor’s Simon Bennett, selling at £1,419, or 240.5p/kg.
Both animals were purchased by Keelham Farm Shop, Thornton, Nr. Bradford, who are set to launch a new flagship farm shop right next to the Skipton Mart site.
