PerthWednesday 6th February 2008 There was a small but elite entry of British Blue bulls at Perth on Wednesday 6th February 2008. The show, kindly sponsored by The Bank of Scotland, was judged by Steve Pattinson, Carlisle, Cumbria, who put up Solway View Berti as his Supreme Champion. This January ’06 born bull, from Kevin Watret, Annan, Dumfriesshire, was sired by Dafydd D’OChain out of Annanwater Venice. After spirited bidding, Berti was knocked down to E F Wootton, Ravensend at 3,800 gns. The Reserve Champion was Widewath Aiden, from JT Wainwright & Sons. This March ’05 born bull, a son of Netherwood Umpire out of Ridge Dean Rowena, was purchased by D & M Templeton, Saline, Fife at 3,000gns.
