• British Blue heifer tops prices at Gisburn selling at 525p/pkg making £2,383.50

• British Blue cross cow with calf at foot makes £3,700 at Dingwall and an in-calf British Blue heifer makes £3,400

• British Blues secure Champion & Reserve at Holmfirth

• Newcastle Emlyn Reserve Champion a British Blue cross

• Chelford Champion Cull Cow a British Blue cross at 256p/pkg making £2,186.24 – Reserve Champion also a British Blue cross

• Salisbury Unhandled Champion a British Blue cross heifer

• Reserve Champion at Selby a British Blue cross steer realised £1,698 – Champion Bull a British Blue cross making £1,804

• British Blue heifer Champion at Lancaster makes top price of 320p/pkg – Reserve Champion also a British Blue cross heifer at 300p/pkg

• The Champion Beef Animal at Bakewell Christmas Primestock Show was a British Blue heifer from Wayne Smith, Leek. She weighed in at 612kg and sold for 360p/pkg (£2,203.20) She was purchased from the British Blue Sale at Chelford in March. An animal the same way bred was also the Supreme Champion at Leek.
