British Blue Day at Leyburn

On Friday 6th February,
Leyburn Auction Mart held its British Blue Day with classes for store
cattle and rearing calves sponsored by The British Blue Cattle Society,
Dale & Vale Vets, Volac and Carrs Billington Agriculture.

Store cattle section judged by
Dave Hall from Malton who chose a heifer as his Blue Champion from
Bainbridge Brothers of Marrick Abbey in Swaledale. Mr Hall backed his

Bishop Thornton with another bull selling for £500 to Richard Turnbull,
