British Blue Cross Bullock wins Hexham Christmas Primestock Show

Hexham and Northern Marts Christmas primestock show was won by a British Blue Cross bullock from Messrs Rochester & Murray, Glebe Farm. The bullock weighing 559 kg sold at 370p/kilo realising £2068.30. The winner sired by the homebred bull, Haneve Gus, himself a Bringlee Volkawagon son and out of a pure limousin cow was purchased by Messrs Higginson, Corbridge Butchers.

Reserve Champion was a British Blue heifer shown by Sean Maw, Beaumont House, weighing 558kg and selling at 240.5ppk .
