Farm Walk held with the Tanat Herd

Our annual farm walk was held this year on Sunday 1st September 2013 by kind invitation of Wyn & Diane Jones home of the Tanat Herd of Pedigree British Blues in Oswestry. This was a joint farm walk with the Welsh Club.

On arrival we were given light refreshments, and while having these there were number of cattle tied up on the yard to look at. These included his summer showing cattle with Tanat Halfpenny being one of them.

After refreshments we set off on the farm walk and luckily the weather was kind to us. Around the fields we looked at the breeding heifers, cows and calves in the stunning surroundings of the Welsh Countryside.

After the walk, we finished with a hog roast and sweets from the Jones family.
