Two herd stock bulls, Jane & Danny Wyllie’s Ballygrange Alex, by
Woodview Solo out of Ballygrange Roxy, and Adam Neachell’s Solway View
Antonio, by Serum D’Anloy out of Springfield Tinga, made an impressive
entrance into the ring. Ballygrange Alex took the red ticket this time followed
by the Male Championship. It would seem a bit of a backhanded compliment for
Jane and Danny to be pipped at the post by a female that they had bred themselves
when Alex stood Reserve Breed Champion to Tamhorn Uptown Girl.

youngsters when he accompanied Graymar Churchill into the ring. This son of
Bringlee Talbot out of Bringlee Viv took the Junior Bull ticket and went on
to stand Reserve Male Champion to Ballygrange Alex. The Jones’s newly
acquired heifer, Bringlee Beth, a Colibri Du Coin daughter out of the renowned
Bringlee Sandy, took the red ticket in her maiden heifer class. Standing second
to her was Adam Neachell’s heifer Cromwell Classy Boots, by Tamhorn Victorious
out of Tamhorn Something Special.

The
following day in the Interbreed Group of Three, Ballygrange Alex, Tamhorn
Uptown Girl accompanied by Nicola Beardsley’s Woodlands
Adorable, a Danseur D’Embise daughter out of Woodlands Nicola,
with eight weeks old Cromwell Del Boy, impeccably behaved and bringing
up the rear, they made a spectacular impression and took the Championship
in a very strongly contested class. It was an amazing double for Danny
and Adam as they had been part of the team who took this award at the
2007 show.
