4,000gns Double Top Price at Stirling

A small but quality entry of 3 bulls from the Auchenlay Herd were sold at Stirling Bull Sales on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.

First through the ring at 4,000gns was Auchenlay Jamie, a January 2014 son of stock bull, Tamhorn Ethan and out of Auchenlay Amy, herself a Twyning Ash Troy daughter. With good EBV’s he sold to the Scottish Government Bull Stud at Knocknagael, Inverness, the first time a "Blue" has been taken by the stud.

Next at 4,000gns was Auchenlay Jazz, another 2014-born son of Tamhorn Ethan, but this time out of Carrochan Almond. Successful purchasers were WSL Muir, Upper Onston, Orkney.

R Graham & Son, Bridge of Allan, Stirling, went to 3,000gns to secure the final lot from Auchenlay, this time Jacobite, another son of Tamhorn Ethan but out of Auchenlay Emerald, an Almeley Webster 2 daughter.
