Royal Welsh Show 2007

Members of Wales and Borders Club swept the board at this years show.

The Supreme and female champion was won by Neil and Sally Lloyd with UK. Com. This cow by Serum and out of Black N Blue Princess had a 7 month old Dafydd sired calf at foot.

Reserve Supreme and reserve female from Andrew and Ingrid Phillips, and shown by Jade was Balzer Waterlilly, a Baron daughter.

Junior male and male champion was won by Graham, Mary and Mathew Jones with Bringlee Banjo, a March 06 born son of Imense out of Bringlee Vic

Reserve junior male and reserve male champion was from Wynne and Linda Morgan. Ty Isaf Baroque an April 06 son of Baroque De L’ecluse out of Ty Isaf Oriental Mist.

Junior female was won by Rhys Millichap with Rhymil Brittany. Reserve junior female was Kensco Belle from Mathew Davies.

The Progen cup that is awarded to a member of the club who gains the most points for exhibitor bred cattle was won by Graham Brindley.

At the BBQ on Monday evening the club held a raffle and an auction. Many thanks to everyone who supported us, and I hope that an enjoyable evening was had by all who attended. All exhibitors at the show were presented with a commemorative whiskey tumbler, kindly given by our club.

In the beef stockman’s competition the Ty Isaf Herd of Wynne & Linda Morgan gained 2nd place.
