Friday 6th March 2020 at Shrewsbury Livestock Market
The Wales & Borders British Blue Cattle Club will be holding an Open Calf Show at Shrewsbury Market for British Blue Pedigree male and female calves and commercial calves either sired by a British Blue bull or out of a Pedigree British Blue female.
JUDGE - Mr Paul Walker
• Class 1 Pedigree Male born between 01/01/2019and 31/03/2019
• Class 2 Pedigree Male born between 01/04/2019 and 31/07/2019
• Class 3 Pedigree Male born after 01/08/2019
Pedigree Male Championship
• Class 4 Pedigree Female born between 01/01/2019 and 31/03/2019
• Class 5 Pedigree Female born between 01/04/2019 and 31/07/2019
• Class 6 Pedigree Female born after 01/08/2019
Pedigree Female Championship
• Class 7 Crossbred Steer sired by a British Blue bull , or out of a pedigree British Blue female born after 1/01/2019
• Class 8 Crossbred heifer sired by a British Blue bull, or out of a British Blue female born after 01/01/2019
Crossbred Championship
• Pairs Entries taken on the day
British Blue Cattle Society rosettes will be awarded to all prize winners.
Perpetual trophies will be awarded to the:
Overall Champion Pedigree Calf, Champion Crossbred Calf and Pairs
Completed entry forms & £10 per calf entered to be forwarded to:

(NB. The club reserves the right to amalgamate classes dependent on entries received)
Entries must be received by Monday 2nd March
All calves must be TB Pre Movement Tested
All Exhibits must be haltered
Exhibitors to provide their own straw
